Featured Event: Opulent + Classic with a twist of blue

The Carriage House at Fallen Oaks Estate

When dreaming up what would be the most fitting for Fallen Oaks Estate and strike a chord with future couples, all I could envision was a classic black and white. Adding in the contrast of the blue hues to the ever so classic colors brought in to create a unique and romantic vibe to the backdrop of the venue. The inspiration was brought on by the zebra. Mr Z was literally the thing that made that day perfect. With the white picturesque backdrop of the estate and carriage house, we needed something to pop and stand out. Mr Z was dreamed about before we ever even knew his name. Coming from 5 miles down the road, Mr Z has surely captured all of our hearts and dotted the i in the inspiration shoot. In addition, I wanted to also bring in the wine country that surrounds this venue. Bringing in champagne grapes, which are petite and elegant. They brought in just the right amount of the wine country in adding to the tablescape.

The whole focus of this shoot was the modern touches but keeping it very classic with the black and white.

One more fabulous detail on this stunning shoot, the model groomsmen and bridesmaid actually got engaged during the shoot! They are both Disney World characters (She is a princess and he is Captain America) were brought into the shoot by the catering company, Fork & Fire, with the knowledge he would be proposing during the shoot. We set up the beautiful ceremony site with that in mind and a plan for sunset. It was gorgeous + perfect! That day was filled with romance and elegance.
